कुमार प्रभात : “किसी भी फिल्म, सीरियल या सीरीज़ की सफलता में लेखक की भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका होती है, मगर सफलता के बाद जब प्रशंसा का समय आता है तो वाहवाही और तालियाँ दूसरे ले जाते हैं और लेखक बस लिखता रह जाता है।  किन्तु हर्ष की बात है कि SWA ने लेखकों के हितों की रक्षा के साथ साथ उन्हें पुरस्कृत करने का भी बीड़ा उठाया है जो किसी भी लेखक के लिए गर्व की बात है।  मेरा सौभाग्य है कि में भी इस पुरस्कार के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ट स्क्रीनप्ले राइटर कैटगरी में नामांकित हूँ।  SWA का आभारी हूँ , सबको ढेर सारी शुभकामनाएं। ”

ज़मा हबीब– “एसडबल्यूए अवार्ड्स में सर्वश्रेष्ठ गीत की श्रेणी में नामांकित होने के बाद अब मैं मेरे टीवी शो ‘इशारों इशारों में’ के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ पटकथा और सर्वश्रेष्ठ संवाद के लिए नामित होने पर बहुत खुश हूँ और सम्मानित महसूस कर रहा हूँ। नामांकन के लिए एसडबल्यूए का धन्यवाद। हारना या जीतना मायने नहीं रखता। मैं खुश हूँ की हमारे लेखक साथियों ने यह नई यात्रा शुरू की है, अपना खुद का अवार्ड–लेखकों के लिए, लेखकों द्वारा अवार्ड। सभी लेखकों और गीतकारों को बधाई। एसडबल्यूए अवार्ड्स टीम को भी बहुत बधाई।”

FAIZAL AKHTAR : “Any Association is always like a mother to its associate. And an award coming from SWA really feels so genuine. Moreover, I have been to many award functions and have won many awards, but I have seen writers always being treated in a ‘rushed-up’ manner while giving the awards. Their speeches do not matter on telecasts. It is always the actors who get importance in a medium which is called a ‘writer’s-medium’. So yes an award by SWA is great because it is by the writers and for the writers. At least now writers will get the necessary importance in their mothers arms. Thank you so much for nominating me for Jhansi Ki Rani. A show much close to my heart for the amount of research and crafting went into it. And all the best SWA. This award is a lovely effort.”

फैज़ल अख़्तर : “कोई भी संस्था इसमे जुड़े लोगो के लिए माँ के समान होती है। और एसडबल्यूए की तरफ से कोई अवार्ड का होना बहुत शानदार एहसास है। इससे भी ज्यादा, मैं कई सारे अवार्ड समारोह में जा चुका हूँ और कई जीत भी चुका हूँ,लेकिन मैंने देखा है की लेखकों को अवार्ड देते समय बहुत जल्दबाज़ी या ऐसे ही निपटा देने वाला व्यवहार किया जाता है। लेखकों काभाषण भी प्रसारित करने के लिए कोई मायने नही रखता। लेखकों के माध्यम में हमेशा अभिनेताओं को महत्व दिया जाता है। इसलिए एसडबल्यूए का अवार्ड बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है जो लेखकों को, लेखकों द्वारा दिया जा रहा है। आखिरकार अब लेखक अपनी माँ की गोद में जरूरी महत्व पाएगा। ‘झाँसी की रानी’के लिए मुझे नामित करने पर धन्यवाद। जिस तरह की रिसर्च और क्राफ्ट को इसमे मैं लगाया है, यह शो मेरे दिल के बहुत करीब है। एसडबल्यूए को बहुत बधाई। यह अवार्ड बहुत खूबसूरत प्रयास है।” 

PANKAJ UNIYAL : “This is a momentous occasion in the history of the Film & Television Industry where for the first time SWA Awards are being held. I am truly overwhelmed by this great initiative taken by SWA to recognize, encourage and promote screenwriters. I am earnestly grateful for the recognition I have received for being shortlisted as one of the Nominees for the SWA Awards 2020 for the TV Show Jhansi ki Rani in the Best Screenplay in TV Series-Drama category. I feel privileged and honoured for this recognition of my endeavour. These awards will definitely prove a milestone in moulding and shaping the future of the entire screenwriting fraternity.”

पंकज उनियाल : “ फिल्म और टेलीविज़न इंडस्ट्री के इतिहास में यह सबसे अहम मौका है जब पहली बार एसडबल्यूए अवार्ड का आयोजन हो रहा है। स्क्रीनरायटर्स को पहचान कर उन्हे प्रेरित और उत्साहित करने के एसडबल्यूए के इस महान शुरुआत से मैं बहुत हीखुश हूँ। टीवी शो ‘झाँसी की रानी’के लिए टीवी सिरीज़ के सर्वश्रेष्ठ पटकथा की श्रेणी में नामित होने पर मैं बहुत आभारी हूँ। अपने प्रयासों को पहचाने जाने से मैं बहुत सम्मानित महसूस करता हूँ। पूरे स्क्रीनरायटर्स के समुदाय को भविष्य की दिशा देने के लिए ये अवार्ड निश्चित ही मील का पत्थर साबित होंगे।”

KARTICK SITARAMAN : “It’s most redeeming to be recognized by one’s peers. It made me pause for a moment. And in that moment, I rediscovered, once again, that the only worthy pursuit in this job, amidst the rejections and frustrations is to be true to oneself, one’s voice. It may not bring accolades or successes immediately but it keeps one alive to try another day. My gratitude to the SWA for this step forward within our community, with the hope that it’s a giant leap for writers everywhere in this country.”

कार्तिक सीतारमन : “अपने साथियों द्वारा सम्मानित होना सबसे बड़े पुरस्कार जैसा होता है। इसने मुझे कुछ क्षणो के लिए स्तब्ध कर दिया। और उस क्षण में मैंने पाया की नकारे जाने और अवसाद के बीच इस व्यवसाय का सबसे बड़ा महत्व है की आप अपने अंदर की आवाज़ के साथ सच्चाई से बने रहें। यह एक त्वरित सफलता नही दिलाती है लेकिन आपको दूसरेप्रयासों के लिए ज़िंदा रखती है। अपने साथियों के लिए  यह कदम बढ़ानेके लिए मैं एसडबल्यूए को आभार व्यक्त करता हूँ,और उम्मीद करता हूँ की यह इस देश के लेखकों के लिए एक बड़ा कदम है।”
