ANUBHAV SINHA : I am so happy to be nominated by the Screenwriters Association for Article 15 for writing awards, and it is so wonderful that your peers, your seniors think what you wrote was worthy of such a distinction. Thank you so much Jury, thank you so much Screenwriters Association.

अनुभव सिन्हा : मुझे बहुत ख़ुशी है कि ‘आर्टिकल 15’ की पठकथा लेखन के लिए मुझे एसडबल्यूए अवार्ड्स द्वारा नामांकित किया गया है और यह वाकई में बहुत अद्भुत है कि आपके साथियों, आपके वरिष्ठों को लगता है कि आपने जो लिखा था वह इस तरह के सम्मान के योग्य है। ज्यूरी मेम्बर्स और एसडबल्यूए बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद।

GAURAV SOLANKI : This is a very special nomination. Awards for writers, by writers! I hope through this we keep encouraging each other, educating each other of our shortcomings and pat each other’s back when the work is good. We keep working writing new stories and screenplays and walk on new paths. This is a celebration for that only!

 गौरव सोलंकी : यह बहुत ही ख़ास नामांकन है, लेखकों द्वारा, लेखकों के लिए पुरस्कार। मुझे उम्मीद है कि इस बहाने हम एक दूसरे का हौसला बढ़ाते रहेंगे, कमियों और ग़लतियों पर टोकते भी रहेंगे और जब–जब किसी का काम अच्छा लगेगा, उसकी पीठ थपथपाएंगे। हम बेहतर कहानियाँ और स्क्रीनप्ले लिखने की कोशिश करते रहें, नए रास्तों पर चलें। यह उसी का जश्न है।

DEVANSHU SINGH : “It’s a matter of great joy and pride for us both, that our first script has been nominated in 3 categories (Best Story, Best Screenplay & Debut Writer) at the first ever edition of the SWA awards. We wrote this script in 2007 without any formal training in screenwriting. For the past 10 years, we kept polishing it as we learnt the craft. Writing is the game of immense patience and hard work and being rewarded for it, means a lot. Thank you jury for considering us worthy of the nomination among such brilliant writers. Special thanks to SWA for starting this award. This will definitely encourage budding writers like us.”

देवांशु सिंह : “हम दोनों के लिए यह बहुत खुशी और गर्व की बात है, कि हमारी पहली स्क्रिप्ट को एसडब्ल्यूए  पुरस्कारों के पहले संस्करण में 3 श्रेणियों (सर्वश्रेष्ठ कहानी, सर्वश्रेष्ठ पटकथा और डेब्यू राइटर) में नामांकित किया गया है। हमने यह स्क्रिप्ट 2007 में पटकथा लेखन में किसी भी औपचारिक प्रशिक्षण के बिना लिखी थी।  पिछले 10 वर्षों में, जैसे जैसे हम इस क्राफ्ट को सीखते गए, हमारी स्क्रिप्ट भी निखरती गयी। लेखन असीम धैर्य और परिश्रम का खेल है और इसके लिए पुरस्कृत किया जाना बहुत बड़ी बात है।  हमें इतने शानदार लेखकों के बीच नामांकन करने के योग्य समझने के लिए जूरी का बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद। इस पुरस्कार को शुरू करने के लिए एसडबल्यूए को विशेष धन्यवाद। यह निश्चित रूप से हमारे जैसे उभरते लेखकों को प्रोत्साहित करेगा।“

SATYANSHU SINGH :  “Over the last couple of decades, Screenwriters Association has been the much needed support- system we need as writers. It is only just that the SWA has its own awards to  honor the work of screenwriters and lyricists. Over the following years, this award will only grow in its stature and legacy. I will always feel honored and proud to be nominated in the SWA Awards, very first year. Thank you SWA from the bottom of my heart, for this nomination, and every other nomination and award an upcoming writer will receive from you“

सत्यांशु सिंह : “पिछले कुछ दशकों से, एसडबल्यूए लेखकों के लिए सबसे आवश्यक सहायक प्रणाली बना है।  एसडब्ल्यूए के पास पटकथा लेखकों और गीतकारों के काम का सम्मान करने के लिए अपने स्वयं के पुरस्कार हैं। आने वाले वर्षों में यह पुरस्कार नयी ऊंचाइयां छुएगा और प्रतिष्ठा में आगे बढ़ेगा।  मैं एसडबल्यूए अवार्ड्स के प्रथम वर्ष  में नामांकित होने पर हमेशा सम्मानित और गौरवान्वित महसूस करूंगा। इस नामांकन के लिए और अगले हर उस नामांकन और पुरस्कार के लिए जो आने वाले लेखकों को आप लोगों द्वारा दिया जाएगा, उसके लिए एसडबल्यूए को तहे दिल से धन्यवाद।

ABHISHEK CHAUBEY : It comes as a rare piece of good news in these bleak times that SWA has inaugurated its first ever awards to honour the best writing of the year. That we have been nominated in the Best Story category for Sonchiriya is an icing on the cake. It’s an absolute privilege to be nominated for the first ever edition and I wish this initiative is a huge success. Recent years have seen the standing of film writers in our industry improve remarkably and SWA has a major role in this development. I hope this happy story continues into its new act.

अभिषेक चौबे : यह इस धुंधले वक़्त में एक अच्छी खबर के अनूठे टुकड़े के रूप में आता है कि एसडबल्यूए ने वर्ष के सर्वश्रेष्ठ लेखन को सम्मानित करने के लिए अपने पहले पुरस्कारों का उद्घाटन किया है। सोनचिरैया के लिए बेस्ट स्टोरी श्रेणी में नामांकित होना हमारे लिए सोने पे सुहागा है। पहले संस्करण के लिए नामांकित होना एक बहुत बड़ा अवसर है और मैं चाहता हूं कि यह पहल बड़ी सफलता प्राप्त करे। हाल के वर्षों ने हमारे उद्योग में फिल्म लेखकों की स्थिति में उल्लेखनीय सुधार देखा है और इस विकास में एसडबल्यूए की प्रमुख भूमिका है। मुझे उम्मीद है कि यह सुखद कहानी आगे बढ़ती रहे।

SUDIP SHARMA : “It’s lovely to hear that SWA is honouring the best works of the year 2019 with SWA Awards for writing. I am even more thrilled that my writing on Sonchiriya has been thought worthy of nomination by a jury of eminent writers. It is always a lovely feeling to be reviewed well by your peers and I thank them for considering my work worthwhile of that privilege.”

सुदीप शर्मा: यह सुनकर बहुत खुशी हुई कि एसडबल्यूए ने वर्ष २०१९ में किए गए लेखन के सर्वश्रेष्ठ कार्यों को एसडब्लुए अवार्ड्स से सम्मानित कर रहा है। मै इस बात से और भी उत्साहित हूं कि सोनचिड़िया के मेरे लेखन को विशिष्ट लेखकों के निर्णायक मंडल द्वारा नामांकन के योग्य समझा गया है। अपने सहकर्मियों द्वारा सुयोग्य तरीके से समीक्षा किया जाना हमेशा एक प्यारा एहसास होता है और मैं उन्हें धन्यवाद देता हूं कि उन्होंने मेरे लेखन को इस अवसर के लायक समझा।
